Meeting House Appeal

Today (31/03/2022) our Meeting House Appeal has gone live through The Friend magazine: This week the appeal is from Crawshawbooth Quaker Meeting who are asking you to support the preservation of their grade 2* listed Meeting House and improve its use through planned building works to the adjoining old stable block to include fully accessible amenities and a community space. Built in1716, Crawshawbooth Meeting House is close to Pendle Hill and is steeped in Quaker history. The plans include creating a centre for the interpretation of Quaker heritage. Donations can be sent to: Friends Meeting House, 13 Co-operation Street, Crawshawbooth, Rossendale, BB4 8AG – cheques payable to Quakers Crawshawbooth RSF or by BACS to NatWest Bank: 010729 – A/c 50059440.
